...No relation to the AC/DC song XD

OKAY! So I finally got enough time and inspiration to actually CG something XP Unfortunately for you all, there's only so much I can tell you about it for fear of DC spoilers XD

While I can't really tell you who this guy is, I can tell you what he's doing. He's a lightning mage, similar to how Xan's a fire mage, and he's charging his sword for the purpose of using his magic. See, I don't like the idea of pulling things like the elements out of thin air, so in my world (Or rather, DC's world), the mages have to have a nearby source of their element before they can use their magic to manipulate it. Like, Xan has his little fire sprites that he controls and uses for his fire magic. Also, as is the case here, specialized weapons and objects can retain the element so the mage can pretty much carry it around XD. They can already control their element in its natural form, which is why this guy's out in a lightning storm, but for something like lightning that's only there under special conditions, they generally need something like that sword charged with it to use it at any other time.

...if that made ANY sense. I've got the idea in my head, but it still needs some work and I'm terrible at explaining things XD

As for the pic itself, geez, I haven't used water effects like that since [link] And that's actually the first time I've ever tried to create lightning.
XD I think I went a little overboard with the colors and stuff though. I was having fun.

Um....anyway, yeah, that's it. Later =D

"You've been ... Thunderstruck!!" da, daa, duhduh =D I like that song =)

But yeah, you've put a lot of thought into this comic and such, and yes, the comments made a lot of sence to me. I like how you do that too, with the magic thing. Mages manipulate existing elements, they don't conjure them out of thin air. I like it. (Plus, it lets you avoid the whole 'balance' thing =) ) You know, if you create something, something else must disappear (as in FMA) or, if you can manipulate additive magic, subtractive magic also exists, (as in The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind, which I reccomend ANYONE read =) ) etc. etc.

The drawing also looks very nice too. You didn't go overboard IMO, it looks very vivid and imaginative. I also really like the rain effects. I daresay you're better at Photoshop than I am now =D But that's ok. Excellent work, as always =D

XD Me too.

And that's good, I'm glad it made some sense. I was having some trouble explaining it XP. And yeah, I didn't wanna have to deal with the FMA-esque problem, and I dunno about the other one, but it sounds confusing XD.

And thank you =3. It's definitely been awhile since I did rain effects, I'm glad they came out alright XP.
